There is a long held belief within Gond tradition that a good image brings good fortune. During festivals, homes have long been adorned with digna and bhittichitra, using lines, patterns and forms drawn from nature.

SHUBH carries this idea from earth into brass.

Created for Diwali, the collection brings together nine objects for the table, the home and ritual. Across each piece, birds, animals, trees, the sun and geometric markings appear in different expressions, inspired by the visual language of Gond art.
