To preserve the hand-finished surface, avoid dishwashers and harsh detergents. Use a soft sponge and mild soap for everyday cleaning.
Dry Immediately:
Never leave brass pieces to air-dry. Wipe thoroughly with a soft cotton cloth after washing to prevent water spots and uneven oxidation.
Acid & Salt Alert:
Acidic ingredients such as lemon, vinegar, tamarind, and heavily salted foods can react with brass over time. Wash promptly after use to maintain a more even finish.
Material Truth:
Brass is a living material that naturally deepens in tone with age and use. To restore brightness, clean gently using pitambari, tamarind paste, or lemon and salt.
